4 yr. my daughter fell in love with it immediately. 10 children proceeded to take turns driving and fighting over it. had to put it away before it got ugly. that being said .... is robust and well done. my daughter had no problem understanding the closure when opening/closing. were directed to early trip and we were tired of using a cruddy bag for her stuff, and she is super excited to pack its new trunki. the only thing that I thought was lame was hidden compartment ...
